Incredible India 3 - Beauty is pain

Angra, India
The Taj Temple

The men below were waiting for their wifes to take photos, we are all the same!

I took this photo very very quickly on the iPhone just as I entered after going through security for 15 minutes like cattle. There was so many people everywhere - don't go on weekends!

Tips for seeing the Taj Temple in agra
- hire a big van/car and make sure it is air-conditioned. always tell the driver to driver at speed, they think by driving slowly it saves fuel/ and keep aircon on. Unfortunately it will need to be a man saying this to the driver as a woman they just snap back at you.
- give driver $5 equivalent for lunch break
-bring loads of water/ snacks but NOT INTO THE actually TAJ, they will take anything away from you - even chewing gum.
- woman, please be covered up - respect the culture. the girls walking around in little tops were stared at, it is a religious temple. plus you can wear chic colourful Kaftans or harem pants!
- bring anti wipes and bug spray for the public toilets - an adventure in its own. I always gave the money to the maids before going into the toilet and they double cleared it for me! advent in itself!!!

most of all, enjoy the beauty of the temple and the hustle of people

Incredible India - The Taj - Mumbai

The Palace Lounge, Taj, Mumbai - happiest place on the world to be when it is 43C outside, reading great book and cool drinks.
The Taj Place hotel is a must if you are going to want a chilled holiday in India and worth upgrading to the old part. Unless you know diplomats (which we were luck enough to be with some) they upgrade you automatically - rockstar treatment.

As a westerner, how does one dress In Indian & what to buy in India to take home and presents.

Buy for yourself and friends

Bags - colour, amazing leathers
Jewellery - here again op for investment pieces and spend at least $150 - not $10
