Paris - The Fashion - Part Three
Simple is the key with quality accessories, it is that simple for a chic french style
Colors - simple/elegant such as Black, white, greys and navy, that simple
Style - good cuts that flatter you and the classics, shirts, pants, jeans (not torn unless you are a fashion blogger) , medium to high heels and ballerina flats
think quality over quantity
invest, invest, invest in one good - watch/bag/jewelry piece (wear one vintage from family)
and yes, Chanel!
Most of all, have fun..

Paris - Skin Care - Part Two
On my last day at paris I went to a local pharmacy at St Germaine. French woman are known for their religiously secret skin routine so I was ever so keen to get my hands of the secret squirrel knowledge from a specialist.
I walked into the chemist and an older woman (in her 50s) who was the pharmacist came up to me and asked if I needed help - in english. I was determined to get the goss.
I said I am 30, live in Australia and need help. I love serums, dont cleanse tone moisturize.
She said ' good, neither do I'. She then took me to some products and stated they were above my budget so she showed me french organic products and german. She said the key was 'as natural as possible, eat well and be happy'
I told her about my routine that I use a branch called Jurlique from Australia and showed her, I could see she was impressed.
I still bought a few things upon her recommendation:
Melvita - french, very french, I bought calendula oil which also Julique does a divine version. Also bought honey lipbalm.
Weleda - (German) bought some Skin Food which is a MUST! for anyone that has dried skin
Nuxe - bought the body oil now at Priceline
Darphin - available at Mecca - pricey
Phys - great for hair products, received a few samples
Vichy - only from internet (I bought a pore reduction and wrinkle - amazing!) and eye cream - divine
The above are all the brands she recommended but I am mega obsessed with our local hero brand Jurlique. Put the Christmas pack on your this years birthday/Christmas list:
Rosewater
Herbal Recovery
Skin Balancing Face Oil
