Green Tea @ Yum Cha 

I love going to China Town! Exploring all the stores, interesting smells but what most keeps me intrigued is all the teas. I buy all the green/white teas, olong - all high in antioxidants and at HALF THE PRICE then at the supermarket. 

I enourage everyone to give these teas a go, especially with winter around the corner.

Mad Men

My husband is the most stylish man I know. Men have never looked more stylish, why is that? Should we be thanking Mad men, internet for blogs, that male model that walked with Kate and Naomi at the olympics or Scott/Kaney from keeping up with the kardashians.
However I think it is going a bit too far. He he is like which brown, light brown or dark.. I am like who cares, it doesn't matter and then he goes mad!!

Teenage Dream

Obsessed with wedge sneakers, so far I have 2 however my love for them started way back in spice girls era 1996.
My husband is 6'2 so going for walks now is better as I don't look like a child next to him..

some tips


Lighter is better
would suggest you buy a lighter color over black first as they go with anything, jeans, dresses, tracksuits, anything. I promise these are easier to wear then the black ones.

Black for the brave
black wedges are awesome but you can look a bit kardashian in them if you know what I mean. Only a true rock queen can pull these off. with leather trousers, dark jeans.

remember, wear your clothes baggy or you will look a bit euro trash, bling bad versace look...

Hat to hide the mess

On sundays, Alex and I go to our local brunch place The Grounds at Alexandria.
Most of the time I wear my hair in a quick bun or hat.. this is a lovely handmade beanie from Balmain.
There was a few girls that morning at The grounds that should have worn a hat, hide the shame girls.
P.s don't forget the sunnies... any will do kittens...

Sweater + Pearls = casual chic

I couldn't wait to wear my chunky knit..pink and white stripes...a size too big but who cares right!
 how does one accessorize jumpers.. you dont want the jewelry to get caught on your fave new jumper.. so tips....

be brave and wear long necklace

Cardigan, long or short
if you are tall  = long necklace
short = medium to short, no longer then your chest

if you dont think that a pearl necklace with not go with your jumper, then wear clip on Earrings, so vintage and polished and girlie.

Winter Warmers

It is officially cold in Sydney...I had to put on my jumper/sweater for the first time. I love it! Heaven.. jumper+tea or vino+ indoors snuggles/giggles= fun fun
But you want to look chic not shabby boo in a jumper...how you ask.. some basics:
buy one good jumper each year..at least.. proper soft wool.. baggy
Colors - neutrals please.. or bright with basic jeans.
Touch it, if it does not feel nice against your face, don't buy it!
Messy hair up or down... or pony tail
Skinny jeans.. not black tights.. if you are a crazy kitty, leather pants are okay
Minimal make up.. don't want to get lipstick on your wool sweater...in fact.. no make up.. only mascara and smile!
BROWN boots
Basic watch, maybe one bracelet..one ring..that is all...

Glamorous Swans

On a beautiful saturday night, I went to The fun Soda Factory. A fun 1950s themed bar with retro love everywhere.

I could not help but look around with all the vintage cocktails held by men with cherries on top that they were much much much better dressed then the ladies. Where were all the beautiful elegant swans? It is official, men are now better dresses then woman. All the fellas looked so dashing in their suits, white skirts, ties and hair sleek back. And the girls, hair not good messy, bad make up and outfits all over the shop. I was really really disappointed and very sad for them. Where did the effortless glam go?

How look Glam out for cocktails on a saturday night!'

Wear at least one BIG cocktail ring

Apply able rule and then necklace or big earrings - it is dark at a bar so sparkle sparkle

Wear some satin, again that glows in the dark and looks mega lux

Purples, red, pinks not black, you will get lost in all dashing suits

Hair up in chic bun to show your happy, beautiful confident face

make up - bb cream/primer will save your life - bold bold lips AND eyes! You are a movie start, go wild.

Wear high conformable shoes

If you have a bag with a strap, put it away, nothing worse then holding a cocktail and having a bag hang across your body, like a sand bag and drink balancing act, ew! So wear a SMALL chic clutch, not those big ones, you are not working girl in the 80s.

Gloves, but only for the very very brave.

smile and laugh out loud ladies, enjoy most of all and if you look fabulous, you will FEEL FABULOUS!

Queen of the Jungle

Animal print is fun, especially on the weekends!  Most people wear grey, jeans or boring tees. Why not stand out from the zoo and have fun with some print.

don't match your bag & shoe color.. mix it up..

Yoga

This is me, a few years ago at the beginning  of yoga good times... When I was trained by the amazing, talented Amelia.. and very beautiful too!

There is no better feeling then after yoga. You feel so refreshed, so light, detoxed (if you do the 90 minute class) and about 4 centimeters taller! Plus the skin just glows, if you have never tried yoga, give it a go! There is all these fabulous fit people in the class, I promise you will feel awesome after...or very unflexible... nooo. enjoy yourself and laugh at yourself... 

Lux on the Street

The art of mixing luxurious items with high street & vintage is the art form in my opinion which very few can master.
Some suggestions is to buy one lux item and then mix with your own style..SO you can look chic & stylish on the streets. whether it is a nice watch or super quality bag.

Game of Fashion Thrones

Have you ever watched a TV show and thought, gawd, I want her outfit! We have all experienced this watching Sex & the city however I am more adventurous these days... Games of Throne!
 I love all their royal outfits, long gowns and the jewelry!
But who is the best fashionista of them all? I don't think it would hurt to put some fashion royalty into the girls wardrobe aswell, such as above Versace!

If I was to dress the sexy ladies of GOT this is what I would recommend!
The above dress would look amazing on Princess Daenerys Targaryen, the navy would look amazing with her blonde hair. But she needs to be careful about the dragons to setting the silk on fire!

The red haired 'witch' would look lush in the below Ellie Saab red number!

Brienne of Tarth would make an awesome knight in this Balmain number as per below.

This body lotion was given to me as a gift from my previous work and can say it is the best smelling one I have ever used!
Chloe, get it, put it on immediately. The smell is subtle, so classic and very feminine.
